This session will guide you through how to perform a systematic ocular examination in clinical practice. We will cover best practices for using ophthalmic equipment, key clinical signs to look for, and guidance on when referral is appropriate.

This CPD Event for Vets and Nurses will start with a talk on how to do a diagnostic ophthalmic examination in first opinion practice. We will discuss best techniques when using your ophthalmic equipment, things to look out for and when best to refer. The second part of this evening will give you a chance to walk through our dispensary and ask questions about ophthalmic medications and then have a practice at doing fundic examinations and tonometry with members of our team.
