Presented by Encarna Munoz, Marta Zielonka and Nazaret Marichalramos
Thursday 12th November at Veterinary Vision, Bamber Bridge, PR5 6BY
Time: 7pm arrival for approximate start of 7.30pm
This session will explore the diagnosis and management of a wide range of corneal ulcers in dogs and cats, from superficial chronic corneal epithelial defects (SCCEDs) to descemetoceles. We will discuss the common causes of corneal ulceration, alongside the medical and surgical treatment options available.
Using a practical, case-based approach, we'll cover the good, the bad and the melting, providing valuable insights into the recognition and management of these challenging cases in general practice. The session will also help you identify when referral is appropriate and explain the advanced treatment options available at the referral level, enabling you to make informed decisions for your patients.
