Francisco graduated from the University of Lisbon - Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 having performed his master's thesis in ocular refraction (2016-2017). After working in ophthalmology for 2 years as a general practitioner in Lisbon Veterinary Hospital he moved to the United Kingdom to further develop his interest in Ophthalmology. Francisco has joined Veterinary Vision a full time clinician in 2024.
