Kate Sands

Kate graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2012 and started working in a busy small animal hospital in Cheshire. She soon developed a particular interest and ophthalmology and completed her post-graduate certificate.

 

In 2015 she moved to Edinburgh, working at a referral ophthalmology practice for six years before joining the team at Veterinary Vision. Kate now leads the team at the Glasgow branch where she is able to live out her passion for surgery.

 

Outside of work, Kate can often be found in the Lake District or Scotland hill-walking or out on her paddle board.
