Elena Munoz San Jose

Originally from Spain, Elena qualified as a vet in Santiago de Compostela in 2018. She completed an internship in Spain and shortly after moved to the UK in 2019. In her early years as a vet, she worked in small animal practice . She gained her certificate in Veterinary Ophthalmology in 2022 when she joined Veterinary Vision.

Elena enjoys all aspects of ophthalmology but has a strong interest in ocular surgery.

Outside of work, she loves travelling, swimming and climbing.

She has two rescue dogs and one cat that she brought from Spain when she moved; Kira, Cuca and Pumba.
